2. Accounts

You may use the URL shortener and QR generator without an account. Creating an account unlocks additional features such as custom slugs and a link dashboard.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Distribute malware, ransomware, phishing content, or any malicious code
• Engage in spam, unsolicited advertising, or deceptive practices
• Infringe intellectual property rights
• Harass, threaten, or harm any individual or group
• Circumvent any security or rate-limiting measures
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law
• Host or link to content that is illegal, obscene, or otherwise objectionable in our sole discretion

4. Short links

We reserve the right to disable or delete any short link at any time, without notice, if we determine it violates these Terms or poses a risk to users or the Service.

Short links created without an account may be removed after an extended period of inactivity at our discretion.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by LinkMe Tech. You retain all rights to the URLs and content you shorten — we claim no ownership over your links or their destinations.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LinkMe Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Germany.
